The BiscHOF in Mellau in the Bregenzerwald was originally a Voralberg inn from 1780. A typical, ancient, traditional Vorarlberg Bregenzerwald farmhouse that has been carefully renovated. The "Bergblick" holiday flat in the attic and gable floor has been available since 2013. Natural materials were used during the restoration and renovation, which creates a special atmosphere in the rooms and makes the holiday flat a cosy and homely place to stay during your holiday.

Hiking? Mountaineering? Climbing? Mountain biking? Road biking? Cycling? Walking? Enjoy culinary and cultural delights? It's all possible here. With the "Bregenzerwald Guest Card" you can use mountain railways, swimming pools and buses free of charge in summer. From 01 May to 31 October, as your personal ticket to the mountain experiences in the Bregenzerwald.

Enjoy wonderful walks in winter too, on the well signposted hiking trails. Walking paths, cross-country ski trails and winter hiking routes are right behind the house. The natural toboggan run is in the immediate vicinity of your holiday flat at the BiscHOF in Mellau. For your skiing pleasure, the ski bus departs every 20 minutes directly from your doorstep. You can also round off your day with a toboggan run before making yourself comfortable in your flat.

A large part of the herd of cows spends the summer on the Alpe, so it's well worth a visit. From Monday to Friday from 17:00 to 18:00, we are happy to invite our house guests to the barn to watch the farm work, observe the animals and lend a hand. 

In the new communal farm shop you can buy fresh cow's milk, various types of yoghurt, butter, different types of cheese, a wide range of sausages, frozen meat directly from the farmer and pasta for delicious dishes. You are also welcome to take advantage of the daily bread roll service with freshly baked goods or the breakfast basket.
