The Felder family's Heidegg holiday farm with its two holiday flats "Niedereblick" and "Kirchturmblick" is located in Andelsbuch, in the middle of the idyllic Bregenzerwald.

Spend your days off on the holiday farm. A farm with over a hundred years of family history. In a valley that is known far beyond its borders for its unspoilt nature, breathtaking architecture and the hospitality of its people.

Enjoy the beautiful mountain panorama and the soothing tranquillity all year round. Switch off and relax in a deckchair in front of the house with a view of the many colourful, silently flying paragliders in the sky, by the Bregenzerache with its rushing mountain water or in the warm dining rooms, where you should definitely not miss out on the many culinary variations of the famous Bregenzerwald mountain cheese. Explore the three-stage farming system with the outlying mountain pastures and Alps of the Bregenzerwald by bike or on foot.

There are also plenty of activities to choose from for adventurous guests - whether rafting, climbing or mountaineering. To get to "die Niedere", you have to go to Bezau to the Sonderdach mountain railway or take the car or bus to the mountain station, from where you can go hiking or paragliding. The Andelsbuch mountain railway has been closed since summer 2023.

TIP: Paragliders have the special opportunity to land directly at the holiday farm on the Heidegg.

Between May and October, you will also receive the Bregenzerwald Guest Card for stays of 3 nights or more, with which you can use all free swimming pools, mountain railways and public buses to the nearby towns of Dornbirn and Bregenz free of charge.

In winter too, you can experience a winter wonderland for everyone at the Heidegg holiday farm in the Bregenzerwald. For peace-seeking connoisseurs who want to take a break from everyday life in the region in a breathtaking landscape, with the finest culinary delights and an extensive cultural programme. Be inspired by Bregenzerwald craftsmanship and architecture, enjoy a portion of Kässpätzle in one of the many cosy inns or explore the local museums.

The Bregenzerwald offers you an adventurous family holiday with winter sports and winter fun. Sports enthusiasts will get their money's worth on winter and snowshoe hikes, ski tours, tobogganing, snowboarding and skiing. The nearest ski area, Niedere, with its fabulous views across Lake Constance to the Swiss mountains, is just a few minutes' walk away. The largest ski area in the Bregenzerwald Damüls-Mellau, the family ski area Schwarzenberg / Bödele or the children's paradise Schetteregg can all be reached in less than 15 minutes by car/bus.

At the holiday farm on the Heidegg you can get fresh cow's milk, free-range eggs and a glass of Enzian brandy directly from the farm. Freshly caught and prepared trout is available throughout the summer in the farm's own "Gastgarten Tanna" at the fish pond in the nearby village of Bersbuch. All other daily necessities are available directly in the village centre in Andelsbuch at the local bakery, the Andelsbuch dairy with shop, where the milk from our animals is processed directly, in the cheese house or the local grocery store.

The holiday farm on the Heidegg has Brown Swiss dairy cows including young animals, chickens for your breakfast eggs and a farm cat to stroke and watch.

In summer, the Brown Swiss cattle graze in the meadows near the Tanna guest garden five kilometres away on the Bregenzerache at the fish pond in Bersbuch and on the Niederalpe in Hirschau. You are welcome to visit us and the animals at the farm's own fishing pond or the alpine pasture in the rear Bregenzerwald.
