One of the best features of the Saalhof Castle is its picturesque standalone location between gentle grassy hills and steep mountains. Beautiful skiing resorts and hiking trails are just a few minutes from the castle. In the summer you can explore gentle terrain by bike or steep mountains by foot. Afterwards a refreshing swim in nearby Lake Zell is perfect!

The chalet 'Moarhaus' offers 7-8 bedrooms, 5 baths, 4 separate toilets, a large common dining area and lounge in the second floor for groups and families of 14 to 27 people. The large kitchen in the 'Moarstube' is ideal for common cooking. Nevertheless, each familiy has their own private area because of the division into 4 apartments (Schulzimmer, Backstube, Hiatakammer and Moarstube). One of those, the classroom, is wheelchair accessible.
The wellness area in the basement can be used exclusively.
The attic with a double room with folding bed (160x200cm) is the 8th bedroom and can be booked additionally.
Common lounge and eating area in the 1st floor: Two L-shaped tables offer space for up to 20 people.
In the basement there is now a wellness area with a huge wine barrel out of wood which contains the 'Moarsauna'; this sauna can be used exclusively.
On the ground floor there is a ski shoe room with heated shoe-dryer for 2x 20 pairs of shoes, a ski cellar with sepeerate rear entrance and a bicycle and garbage room.
