Welcome to Ferienbauernhof Elmaugut in Mühlbach am Hochkönig!

At an altitude of 1,200 metres, at the foot of the impressive Hochkönig massif in the Salzburg region, lies our family-run organic mountain farm, Elmaugut. For generations, we have been running our farm with great dedication, passion, and a deep connection to nature. Here, farming traditions, warm hospitality, and the breathtaking mountain landscape of the Hochkönig come together to create a truly special holiday experience.

🐮 Experience Life on the Farm
Animals are simply part of everyday life here. Noriker horses, Normande cattle, calves, goats, sheep, ponies, cats, rabbits, pigs, peacocks, and chickens are all looking forward to meeting young and old visitors. Our farm dogs Dana and Fips will give you a warm welcome. Guests are welcome to meet the animals and, if they wish, lend a hand with some of the smaller jobs around the farm. In summer, many of our animals spend their days grazing on the lush meadows surrounding the farm.

For a delicious start to the day, we offer a bread and pastry delivery service from a local bakery. You can also enjoy our farm's own products and take a taste of the region home with you.

🏡 Comfortable Accommodation
Our holiday apartments and double rooms in the main house offer modern comfort in a relaxed atmosphere. A special highlight is our farmhouse dating back to 1679, which can be booked exclusively for private use as a self-catering holiday home.

☀️ Summer at Hochkönig
Hiking trails and bike routes lead directly from Elmaugut into the impressive mountain landscape. Whether you're looking for a family outing, a leisurely hike, or a challenging mountain tour, the area around Mühlbach offers a wide range of activities.

As a HochkönigCard partner, our guests benefit from numerous complimentary services and discounts. With the Salzburg Verkehr Guest Mobility Ticket, you can also use public transport throughout the entire Salzburg region free of charge. In summer, the hiking bus stops directly in front of our farm.

❄️ Winter at Elmaugut
In winter, you can enjoy skiing, ski touring, snowshoeing, tobogganing, and cross-country skiing. Depending on snow conditions, a ski shuttle connection takes you directly to the family run in the Mühlbach am Hochkönig ski area.

One of the special winter highlights is a horse-drawn sleigh ride with Anton Höllwart Sr. and our own home-bred Noriker horses. Wrapped up warm, you can glide through the snow-covered winter landscape of Mühlbach and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
