The Bio-Erlebnishof Wastlbauer in the Salzburg Lake District - an old farm with a young philosophy. In our 2,000 m² large market garden, we cultivate fresh organic vegetables, tend orchards, flowers, berry gardens, and forests, and care for our animals with great dedication. Following the principles of permaculture, we produce food that not only tastes good but also strengthens the soil, nature, and people.

Experience genuine farm life with us: Care for sheep, chickens & cats, harvest fresh fruit and vegetables, or get your donkey license. Our newly renovated farmhouse offers 2 apartments and 5 double rooms (two of which can be combined into a family suite with a small kitchenette). All are cozy, individually furnished, blending tradition with modernity. Enjoy a rich breakfast with colorful variety - homemade or from regional partner businesses. In good weather, enjoy it under the shade of our old walnut trees.

In the farm shop, you'll find homemade specialties, fresh organic vegetables from our market garden, and seasonal delights from the orchard and fields. Our summerly cider tavern awaits with special delicacies and a relaxed summer atmosphere for everyone who loves good food and nature! 

Forests and meadows at your doorstep, Salzburg lakes within walking distance, a private swimming spot on the Mattig River, play areas for children on the farm, the orchard terrace by the stream, and many inviting places to relax, read, and breathe in nature - that's your holiday at Bio-Erlebnishof Wastlbauer.
