Welcome to the Waldpension Ranner

Due to our unique, great location in the middle of the mountains, surrounded by forest and meadows with a lot of space for everyone, we can offer you a holiday with a very high relaxation factor.

We offer 5 apartments equipped with solid wood furniture, with the possibility to enjoy an extensive breakfast on the farm with homemade jams, honey, eggs from our own chickens, smoked bacon and homemade bread. In summer in our shady seating garden under the over 100 year old pear tree.

Moonlight, morning sun, forest view, Reißkofel and Latschur, that's what we call our holiday apartments. The garden around the house is used as an oasis of well-being for our guests: hanging swing, wooden bench on the house wall, cozy garden shed, swing and slide for the children. Apricot, apple, plum and pear trees convey the feeling of being in the Garden of Eden.

8 suckler cows and their offspring and calves live with us on the farm. They spend the summer on the Plöckenalm. From time to time we visit the animals with our guests. Small animals such as cats and free-roaming rabbits are happy to be petted.

The bathing lakes of Greifenburg and Kleblach - Lind can be reached in a few minutes. A day trip to the crystal-clear Weissensee is always worthwhile.

Would you like to walk in the footsteps of Robin Hood? A 3D archery course starts right in front of our house. With a bow and arrow, you try to hit realistically reproduced native wild animals. A wonderful leisure experience for young and old.

Race with the clouds and eagles at undreamt-of heights with a paraglider or hang-glider. With the Emberger Alm we are in the middle of one of the most famous flying areas in Europe.

Glide along the Drau in a canoe or explore the Drau Valley by bike or mountain bike. Athletes always get their money's worth here.

Climb the surrounding mountain peaks and enjoy the end of the day in the cozy garden in the evening at sunset. We are happy to give you insider tips on site.
