At the Stauder mountain farm, high above Lake Millstatt in Carinthia, the clocks tick more slowly. Man🙂, animal🐄 and nature🌲 form a unit. Here the day starts comfortably with a really good breakfast: Every day there is home-baked bread, home-made butter, cheese and bacon, home-made jam, herb curds and a fresh breakfast egg from our free-range chickens. You are welcome to get the eggs out of the nest yourself. Have you ever tasted Oxymel? A breakfast surprise awaits you every day: be it the Wiesendudler, Hofmüsli, Oxymel or a herb smoothie made by Anita. And then it's often late in the morning, because when talking to farmer's wife Anita, time usually passes unnoticed. It doesn't matter - you're on vacation - that's how it should be. The children have a lot to do: feed the pigs, pet alpacas, rabbits and cats, pick a bouquet of flowers, paint stones, build a dam or play table tennis. No one has ever felt bored with us. And this despite the fact that the mobile phones of many guests are left in the offline cell.

⏰ Weekly program and workshops We offer farm activities for our guests several times a week: Green cosmetics workshop, alpaca hikes, grilling bread on a stick and much more.

🏡 So you live with us On our farm there are three double-bed rooms and one family room, each with no sanitary area. The Bergkristall holiday apartment is located in the farmhouse and offers a fine holiday nest for up to four people. The ranch cottage can accommodate up to six people. 🦙 alpaca hikes In the morning it is pleasantly cool at 1000 meters above sea level, even in midsummer. This is the right time to go hiking with the alpacas. The halters are put on and off we go. The alpacas are kept on a leash, you cannot ride them.
