Our nice and comfy hotel and farm is located in the heart of the Hermagor Nassfeld region, a paradise for nature lovers and keen skiers. Our farm is set on the valley floor of the broad Gailtal valley in the Carnic Alps which form the border to Italy. Our guests say: Here, you can smell the Mediterranean region and the sea.

Enticing smells of orchards in full bloom, colourful wildflower meadows and the intense fragrance of the forest will have you recharge your batteries. Alpenrose, gentian, wulfenia, lily and other Alpine plants - marvel at the stunning display of blossoms as you take a deep breath of clean mountain air.

Some of the farmers’ cows and calves leave the valley in summer and spend three months of holiday on the alpine pastures. Up there, local dairymen and dairywomen use their milk for making delicious cheese (“Gailtaler Almkäse”) and other traditional products. Having a snack in one of these rustic mountain cabins is a culinary experience at its best.

All those who are keen on winter sports will find everything their hearts could possibly desire in the largest ski resort south of the Alps.
