It still exists, a genuine farm holiday, - authentic and idyllic. Relaxing holidays in harmony with nature. No noise and no traffic. While adults enjoy the peace the children can just be children. Whoever comes as a stranger leaves as a friend!

Our fully operational farm in Schlanitzen, located in the southeastern Alps, has been awarded "4 Flowers“ the highest quality for a farm holiday.

Holiday apartments

In our two holiday homes - "Hansel and Gretel" - there are a total of four flats with a size of 55 – 68m² . With great attention to detail the apartments have been comfortably furnished with wooden furniture. For the little ones there are cots with bedding, a high chair, a baby monitor and a changing mat.

We offer culinary treats 

fresh from the farm – our own products include:

  Home cured bacon, salami, yoghurt, milk, butter, eggs, apple juice, home made brandy.
Fresh pastries from the bakery can be delivered to you daily in your apartment on request.

The Schönauer Farm experience

Feel the rough tongue of a cute calf - even collect eggs from the hen, "Berta" - be woken up by the rooster "Rudy" - witness the busy chatter of geese up close ...

On the farm there are cows, a breeding animal,young animals, kittens, goats, pigs, pot-bellied pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, ducks, "Akim" and "Vera" the horses and the donkey, "Jacob." If you wish, feel free to contribute in the stable: Learn mucking out, milking, feeding and maintaining the animal, or just watch.

Natural playground

Nature is the most beautiful playground. For the kids there is a tree house, a doll's house, a slide, a family swing, a tree swing and sand castles, soap making, go karts, a pedal tractor, a scooter and a tricycle ...

Sausage with bread cooked on the campfire itself, is a special experience.

In the play barn bats flutter around the ears while you sleep in the hay.
