We cordially welcome you and your family to spend your holidays on our farm in the south Waldviertel (altitude: 720 m). The business is entirely family run, and as well as offering comfortable rooms and a spacious holiday apartment, we also offer quality cuisine with good country cooking and Waldviertel specialities.

Our farm is located in the small municipality of Arndorf in a peaceful and heavily forested area with many walking and hiking trails. Just 10 minutes' walk away is the next municipality of Neukirchen with the Church of St. Mary, bank, shop and guesthouse.

Farm characteristics:

Our farm offers the ideal conditions for getting to know life and work on a farm. Anyone who wishes to can lend a hand in the stable or in the fields.

The excursion destinations in the surrounding area such as Pöggstall, the Wachau and the castles and palaces of the Waldviertel offer variety.

The cabin enjoys an idyllic location surrounded by forests and a pasture for young cattle. Lovely view towards Graz's local mountain the Schöckel. Our tastefully furnished alpine cabin offers peace and relaxation. Getting to know nature in wonderful hikes in the nearby summer meadows and lake area makes for an eventful holiday. The cabin is a farmhouse that has been renovated with plenty of care.

On the ground floor there is a kitchen (crockery available) with wood-fired oven and electric cooker. The kitchen gives access to the living room, equipped with a large dining table, TV, couch as well as a small oven. From there you can access the first bedroom, which contains a double bed and small chest. The terrace (with garden furniture and a BBQ area) can also be reached from the kitchen. Our children's playground is also right next door.

Our organic farm is a beautiful place in all seasons. Here, you and your family can let go of the responsibilities of everyday life and recharge your batteries. Apart from the homemade bread, fresh milk and eggs for breakfast, there are other niceties such as fishing in the trout pond, a trampoline, table tennis tables, darts, or for something different "hay hopping." If you want to end an active and busy day in peace, treat yourself to some time in our sauna or infrared cubicle.

Children particularly enjoy the playground in the orchard where guests can stroll about. We know that they also really enjoy the animals on the farm (horses, cats, cows, rabbits). Feeding and milking the animals in the barn means kids both big and small always have something to do. There are also many ways for parents to relax (the lawn, sitting areas, sauna, barbecue...) In the region there are: Weekly programmes for children and adults, lakes and outdoor pools, biking and hiking trails and a rich programme for those interested in culture. Ulrichsberg offers you: asphalt Barvarian-curling hall, beach volleyball court, adventure playground, fly fishing on the Großen Mühl river, the Bohemian Forest golf park, 3 km from Ulrichsberg, Internet café in the youth hostel, skate park, tennis courts, indoor vitality pool, numerous biking and hiking trails, viewpoints, bathing lake, gym, outdoor swimming pools with diving boards or water slides, bowling alleys, miniature golf hall, indoor and outdoor riding arenas, indoor shooting range, bee-keeping, country houses, chapels, churches, artists studios, museums, the Stift Schlägl brewery, weaving, and much more, all within only 10 km! Only 70 km to Linz, the capital of Upper Austria and to Passau in Bavaria! For guests from Germany the trip through Passau has no TRAFFIC JAMS or ROAD TAX!

Naturalness, down-to-earthness and commonality are the values ​​that define our life here in the valley of Lesachtal. These values ​​are also felt by our guests when they come to spend a few days leaving their everyday life behind. Our home the Jöhrerhof was already mentioned in 1736 in Tscheltsch at 1240 m above sea level for the first time. Since then, the farm has remained in our family property throughout and we are proud of that.

Today, rural life plays a lot with nature again. So we rely on an organic dairy industry. We do not just produce our own cheese, but also bake the Lesachtaler bread as it should be baked - with our own cereals, with our own spices and lots of love.

Let us not only enjoy the nature with a breakfast and the products from our own farm, but just enjoy it once: sit in the lush meadows around the yard, play with the cat on the farm or taste the smell of freshly smoked bacon.

Our flower farm is surrounded by meadows and forests at an altitude of 1,030 m featuring a wonderful view of the entire Lavanttal Valley and further to the mountains of Karawanken, Kamnik-Savinja Alps, Hochobir, Mittagskogel and Saualpe.

The town of Wolfsberg is only 5 km from our farm and a 10 minutes’ drive by car.

Children can play to their heart’s content.

An asphalt road leads from Wolfsberg up to our farm. However, there’s no through traffic . The street ends approx. 500 m behind our farm.

Children can move anywhere on our premises, perhaps build a shed in our private forest or put up a tent and spend a night outside in nature. Back at the farm for breakfast, they can enjoy an egg from our hen “Berta”.

It’s not far to the beautiful large lakes for swimming (about 30 minutes’ drive by car).

Set out on a hike up the mountain Speikkogel (2,241 m) directly from the doorstep.

Our farm lies on a sunny slope, with distant views of the hilly and forested surrounding area. An ideal place for a wonderful and relaxing holiday for you and the whole family.

Spend a pleasant and memorable holiday in one of our two holiday apartments.

Directly by the farm you can sit comfortably outside, barbecue, or enjoy the peace of the sunbathing area, while the children play in the sandpit, play with the cats, paddle in the water or explore the nearby surrounding area. Of course you are also welcome to bring your pets. At our fishing ponds you can try a bit of fishing. Then grill your tasty catch on the barbecue.

Every season has its own attractions in the Mühlviertel countryside. There is plenty to discover on walks through the beautiful hiking regions (Bankerlsteig St. Stefan - Helfenberg, etc.)
Enjoy a dip in the nearby swimming pool or in the Steineren Mühl river, play table tennis on the farm, or tennis in Haslach, in the winter, go tobogganing, curling or skiing.

Our younger guests in particular feel extremely at home here, as they can run from the garden to the playroom, making their stay more relaxed for their parents. You can watch the little ones from the balcony as they feed the rabbits or use the trampoline.

There is no traffic noise and Lake Zell is only 1km away.

Thanks to the ideal floor plan you can make yourselves comfortable in our holiday apartments HARMONY and SUNSHINE. The CLAY PLASTER in the rooms makes for an extraordinary ambience. I would be happy to guide you through nature and the countryside. A guided tour of the farm also holds many surprises, e.g. an original outhouse and an old stone cellar.

Just do what you feel like doing. Enjoy the peace and quiet, the beautiful NATURE and cuddly CATS. OUTDOOR and adventure activities are plentiful right on the doorstep. Whether it's a walk in the dense forest or a workout on the bike or with your hiking poles: Our region around the Bohemian Forest is ideally suited for outdoorsy guests. Feel, discover and enjoy nature!

Families with CHILDREN also feel at home with us. On our former farm you will find cats to pet and a large orchard with a playhouse. The heated "outdoor pool" and the natural swimming hole in the Große Mühl river make swimming a very special experience. There are three HORSE-RIDING FARMS 1 km from our house. They offer rides in a horse-drawn carriage and horse-riding classes. Watching the children play and be happy with them when they discover new things - that's a holiday at its best!

Do you want to be in HOLIDAY MODE the moment you wake up? On request, you can snuggle up in real LINEN BEDDINGS made in Austria, in our Mühlviertel region to be more precise (an extra fee applies). The local weaving mill “Viehböck” uses extra-fine yarn for making linen of the highest quality. Feel for yourself how silky and smooth, how cosy and soft it is!

The market town of Aigen-Schlägl in the Mühlviertel region is a place where not only NATURE and CULTURE meet. Restaurants, shops, concerts, cabarets and film programmes await you here - everything is within walking distance.

Our organic farm with 3 apartments and rooms situated in the small town Greith, in a sunny location on the southern slope of the "Seetaler Alps" in the Grebenzen nature park 1100 m above sea level. For families with children and also for individual, single guests a good place to be - if you want to enjoy nature.

Specialities in the summer: For recreation and activities, we offer you a children's playground with table tennis, giant trampoline, fire pit, outdoor bowling alley and barbecue area, and a pond to fish and swim 10 minutes walking distance from our house. Furthermore, there are many hiking trails and the alpine meadow is not far away.

Our farm products: cereals such as spelled, rye, whole wheat; apple juice, cider, potatoes, and every friday/saturday morning you can get here.  Eggs and milk you can get from our neighbours. Guided walks upon request. Children can help in the barn to feed the animals in the morning and evening. Our animals: Mother cows, a pig, goats, 2 ponies, cats, chickens and ducks. Get-together at the campfire (if the weather permits).
