The Mayrhof in Werfenweng is an idyllically situated farm on the outskirts of Werfenweng. The flats were all newly renovated in 2023 and offer space for up to seven people.

Many hiking and cycling trails nearby.

The highlight in summer is the free entry for guests to the swimming lake, which is right next to the farm. Many attractions and activities in the immediate vicinity, such as a climbing park, mountain cart track and paragliding school.

In winter, perfectly groomed pistes, cross-country ski trails, winter hiking trails, horse-drawn carriage rides and our own toboggan slope behind the house offer variety, adventure and fun.

"Prosi Hube" - a recently renovated farmhouse - is located at an altitude of approx. 1,250 m above sea level and offers all the comfort you could wish for. The secluded, sunny location offers magnificent panoramic views of Mur Valley and is ideal for family holidays.

A living space of 130 m² is at your disposal. The spacious kitchen/living room is appointed with a cosy seating area, electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, satellite TV, coffee percolator and toaster. The old vaulted cellar serves as storage room. The 3 cosy bedrooms can accommodate up to 9 persons. There is also a washing machine in the bathroom. Please bring your own towels and bed linen.

A garage for bicycles is also available. A BBQ area and sunbathing area are located in front of the self-catering holiday home. The access road is fit for traffic throughout the year. It is an ideal place for spending a hiking holiday, winter holiday, summer holiday or golfing holiday. Hiking and cycling trails are located in the immediate proximity of the house. There is a bathing lake nearby and the region has its own golf course, ice rinks and skiing areas. You are also offered the opportunity to purchase regional farm products.

If you are looking for rest, relaxation and togetherness then our Krieglwaldhütte is the right place for you. The rustic hut for 2 people is beautifully situated in the middle of the countryside between woods and meadows. Here you can switch off and enjoy nature to the full. 

The hut has running water and a small wood-burning stove for cooking. The toilet is only a few steps away from the hut and because there is no electricity or WiFi, you will experience a hut vacation like back then. 

The cabin enjoys an idyllic location surrounded by forests and a pasture for young cattle. Lovely view towards Graz's local mountain the Schöckel. Our tastefully furnished alpine cabin offers peace and relaxation. Getting to know nature in wonderful hikes in the nearby summer meadows and lake area makes for an eventful holiday. The cabin is a farmhouse that has been renovated with plenty of care.

On the ground floor there is a kitchen (crockery available) with wood-fired oven and electric cooker. The kitchen gives access to the living room, equipped with a large dining table, TV, couch as well as a small oven. From there you can access the first bedroom, which contains a double bed and small chest. The terrace (with garden furniture and a BBQ area) can also be reached from the kitchen. Our children's playground is also right next door.

Children particularly enjoy the playground in the orchard where guests can stroll about. We know that they also really enjoy the animals on the farm (horses, cats, cows, rabbits). Feeding and milking the animals in the barn means kids both big and small always have something to do. There are also many ways for parents to relax (the lawn, sitting areas, sauna, barbecue...) In the region there are: Weekly programmes for children and adults, lakes and outdoor pools, biking and hiking trails and a rich programme for those interested in culture. Our small, idyllic farm is located in the beautiful "Rantnertal", near Murau. Here, surrounded by mountains which are ideal for walks of all difficulty levels, you will find peace and recuperation from the stresses of everyday life. This is also a great place for your children, who can enjoy helping in the stable, our playing field with a swing, slide and trampoline, horse riding or swimming in the neighbouring municipality.

Naturalness, down-to-earthness and commonality are the values ​​that define our life here in the valley of Lesachtal. These values ​​are also felt by our guests when they come to spend a few days leaving their everyday life behind. Our home the Jöhrerhof was already mentioned in 1736 in Tscheltsch at 1240 m above sea level for the first time. Since then, the farm has remained in our family property throughout and we are proud of that.

Today, rural life plays a lot with nature again. So we rely on an organic dairy industry. We do not just produce our own cheese, but also bake the Lesachtaler bread as it should be baked - with our own cereals, with our own spices and lots of love.

Let us not only enjoy the nature with a breakfast and the products from our own farm, but just enjoy it once: sit in the lush meadows around the yard, play with the cat on the farm or taste the smell of freshly smoked bacon.
