You, your children and your pets will enjoy a nature-oriented break at a place where you’ll be treated as a family member. At Biohof Grubbauer, a campsite with heart awaits you, nestled in the quiet expanse of the Kalkalpen National Park region. Located directly on the Sebaldus cycling and hiking pilgrim trails, our site is a retreat for nature lovers, those seeking tranquility, and spiritual travelers.

32 lovingly named pitches, regional farm products, a lively farm atmosphere with over 200 sheep, and sustainable design make your stay special – authentic, honest, and close to nature.

We very much appreciate face-to-face conversations with our guests who come and visit us from all corners of Europe. After all it’s also the friendly and informal ambience that makes our guests feel at home on our farm. We would like to give our guests a thorough insight into the natural and peaceful life in the countryside.

Here, children can simply be children. They can romp and play, swim and get to know our farm in all facets. For our young guests, our family-friendly farm ensures fun and entertainment.

Did you know that the air is already thinner at an altitude of 1,700 m? Here, you can breathe deeply - there are no pollen and mites.

Welcome to a location rich in alpine flowers: gentian, alpine rose, orchids, edelweiss and many more.

A perfect spot for magnificent alpine hikes and mountain tours. Even Brad Pitt has come here to climb our local mountain (Sadnig 2,745 m). Its summit offers unique views reaching from the Lienz Dolomites and the Grossglockner all the way to the Schober Group.

Here, you can still see the starry sky. The stars appear to be so close that it seems possible to pick them from the sky. In this clear mountain air, you can see the star constellations in the sky or watch shooting stars.

We look forward to welcoming you to Carinthia's highest mountain village, where the clocks are still ticking at a different pace.

If you are looking for rest, relaxation and togetherness then our Krieglwaldhütte is the right place for you. The rustic hut for 2 people is beautifully situated in the middle of the countryside between woods and meadows. Here you can switch off and enjoy nature to the full. 

The hut has running water and a small wood-burning stove for cooking. The toilet is only a few steps away from the hut and because there is no electricity or WiFi, you will experience a hut vacation like back then. 

Children particularly enjoy the playground in the orchard where guests can stroll about. We know that they also really enjoy the animals on the farm (horses, cats, cows, rabbits). Feeding and milking the animals in the barn means kids both big and small always have something to do. There are also many ways for parents to relax (the lawn, sitting areas, sauna, barbecue...) In the region there are: Weekly programmes for children and adults, lakes and outdoor pools, biking and hiking trails and a rich programme for those interested in culture. Ulrichsberg offers you: asphalt Barvarian-curling hall, beach volleyball court, adventure playground, fly fishing on the Großen Mühl river, the Bohemian Forest golf park, 3 km from Ulrichsberg, Internet café in the youth hostel, skate park, tennis courts, indoor vitality pool, numerous biking and hiking trails, viewpoints, bathing lake, gym, outdoor swimming pools with diving boards or water slides, bowling alleys, miniature golf hall, indoor and outdoor riding arenas, indoor shooting range, bee-keeping, country houses, chapels, churches, artists studios, museums, the Stift Schlägl brewery, weaving, and much more, all within only 10 km! Our farm lies approx. 2 km above Wagrain in a sunny and quiet location.

Enjoy the impressive view of the surrounding mountains, or simply spend some nice hours on the large sunbathing lawn with a beautiful children's playground. A large garden grill is at your disposal for cosy evening hours. Try a home-made fruit schnapps with us!

Our house is the ideal starting point for small and large hikes or excursions in the region. Boredom has no place with us!

Do you want to rest and soak up the sun, and watch your kids play and let loose? Whether you'd you'd rather enjoy a peaceful stay in the early season or have a great time during high season, we are a family-run farm and invite you to spend your holiday with us alone, with a partner or with the whole family.

Are farm is quiet, sunny, forested and located away from the main road. Sporting opportunities such as tennis, golf, horse riding, trampolining, fishing, swimming and the thermal baths of Bad Waltersdorf and Blumau are in the immediate vicinity.

The nearby rocky stream, where there are still real freshwater crayfish, offers your family an adventurous walk into the forest. Those who still have some energy after the day's exciting activities can help out with the feeding of the animals on the farm.

Our small, idyllic farm is located in the beautiful "Rantnertal", near Murau. Here, surrounded by mountains which are ideal for walks of all difficulty levels, you will find peace and recuperation from the stresses of everyday life. This is also a great place for your children, who can enjoy helping in the stable, our playing field with a swing, slide and trampoline, horse riding or swimming in the neighbouring municipality.

Naturalness, down-to-earthness and commonality are the values ​​that define our life here in the valley of Lesachtal. These values ​​are also felt by our guests when they come to spend a few days leaving their everyday life behind. Our home the Jöhrerhof was already mentioned in 1736 in Tscheltsch at 1240 m above sea level for the first time. Since then, the farm has remained in our family property throughout and we are proud of that.

Today, rural life plays a lot with nature again. So we rely on an organic dairy industry. We do not just produce our own cheese, but also bake the Lesachtaler bread as it should be baked - with our own cereals, with our own spices and lots of love.

Let us not only enjoy the nature with a breakfast and the products from our own farm, but just enjoy it once: sit in the lush meadows around the yard, play with the cat on the farm or taste the smell of freshly smoked bacon.

Our idyllic family farm is located in the upper Mühlviertel, amidst lush meadows and forests, right on the border with Bavaria. No one will bother you on your holiday - so you can leave your worries behind and enjoy the heavenly silence - broken only by the birds singing and the chirping of crickets.

Whether you spend your day relaxing under the pear tree or actively, with a hike in the woods - where you can find delicious blueberries for home cooked jam - or whether you choose the recreation centre at Ranna swimming lake with pedal boating and water slides is up to you.

The children enjoy life at the farm at least as much and many let their parents go out on a day trip while they stay here with us - after all, there's always plenty to do and they want to ride on the tractor too. Just like Mum and Dad do....

And after you have helped out in the evening in the busy barn, you can collect fresh milk for breakfast.

Somewhere under the starry sky, the day ends with a romantic campfire at bedtime, and one can look forward to tomorrow especially if the chirping of the birds is to be taken as a harbinger of sweet dreams.

Welcome to the Bamacherhof in Großgmain!

Our farm is situated on a sunny hill in a wonderfully quiet environment. Far away from the main roads you can enjoy the view of the surrounding mountains.

At the farm we offer four fully equipped vacation apartments, which are individually designed.

The center of Großgmain is only 1,5 km away from our farm. Tennis court and outdoor swimming pool are only 500 m away. Due to our central location in the middle of the vacation triangle Salzburg - Berchtesgaden - Bad Reichenhall, there are countless possibilities for your vacation in summer and winter.

Vacation for culture lovers

The festival city of Salzburg with its cultural treasures can be reached quickly and easily by car or bus from Großgmain. The Salzburg Open Air Museum is also worth a visit. On an area of 50 hectares you can get to know the rural life and economy of the Salzburgerland from the 16th to the 20th century.

Vacations for those seeking peace and quiet

Walks in and around Großgmain will take you to particularly beautiful places that invite you to relax. Always with a view of the surrounding mountains, you can breathe in the clear mountain air. In neighboring Bavaria, the Watzmann Therme and the Rupertustherme await your visit.

Vacation for sport enthusiasts

In summer, extensive cycling and hiking trails in the SalzburgerLand and Berchtesgadener Land are waiting to be explored by you. From easy hikes for the whole family to high alpine tours up the Watzmann or Hochkalter, everything is possible. Activities around the Königssee or the Hintersee near Ramsau should not be missed.

In winter, our local mountain, the Untersberg, invites you to ski and do ski mountaineering. The Bad Reichenhall mountains are perfect for gentle ski mountaineering. A real insider tip for ski touring fans: here you will find untouched landscapes and unused slopes. If you want it more alpine, you can go to Berchtesgaden to tackle the classic tours. Ski fans will get their money's worth in the Jenner area or in Lofer.

Family Hillebrand

Our charming alpine hut is located in the middle of the beautiful Gleinalm area at 1280m above sea level in an idyllic secluded location. It offers the feeling of a bygone era - simply back to the roots.

From the cozy arbor right next door, you can watch wonderful sunrises or simply relax with a good book and rest to the sound of birdsong. Those who prefer something more active can explore the beautiful Gleinalm area and hike to the next hut for a delicious Bretteljause or something sweet.

Our hut is equipped with a farmhouse kitchen, table stove, photovoltaic system for light and cell phone charging - the reception varies depending on the weather. Water, WC and a small bathroom are in the hut.

There are two rooms on the upper floor of the hut: a large room with two double beds and a smaller room with two single beds.

In summer, our cows and their calves graze in the meadows around the hut. That's why it's nice to just lie in a deck chair in front of the hut and watch the cows graze.

Our organic farm with 3 apartments and rooms situated in the small town Greith, in a sunny location on the southern slope of the "Seetaler Alps" in the Grebenzen nature park 1100 m above sea level. For families with children and also for individual, single guests a good place to be - if you want to enjoy nature.

Specialities in the summer: For recreation and activities, we offer you a children's playground with table tennis, giant trampoline, fire pit, outdoor bowling alley and barbecue area, and a pond to fish and swim 10 minutes walking distance from our house. Furthermore, there are many hiking trails and the alpine meadow is not far away.

Our farm products: cereals such as spelled, rye, whole wheat; apple juice, cider, potatoes, and every friday/saturday morning you can get here.  Eggs and milk you can get from our neighbours. Guided walks upon request. Children can help in the barn to feed the animals in the morning and evening. Our animals: Mother cows, a pig, goats, 2 ponies, cats, chickens and ducks. Get-together at the campfire (if the weather permits).
