Both our little and large guests can enjoy their holiday on our kid's and baby's farmyard and experience the day to day life on the farm.

We ask our guests not to smoke in the apartments or in the main house.

Going on tractor rides, building damns in the stream, games and barbecue evenings in a friendly atmosphere will make your holiday an unforgettable experience. A house museum and a model of the old mill detail the farm's interesting history.

1 km away is the well-known and very well-run alpine tavern Kummerbauer Stadl, where food is still a pleasure.

"Prosi Hube" - a recently renovated farmhouse - is located at an altitude of approx. 1,250 m above sea level and offers all the comfort you could wish for. The secluded, sunny location offers magnificent panoramic views of Mur Valley and is ideal for family holidays.

A living space of 130 m² is at your disposal. The spacious kitchen/living room is appointed with a cosy seating area, electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, satellite TV, coffee percolator and toaster. The old vaulted cellar serves as storage room. The 3 cosy bedrooms can accommodate up to 9 persons. There is also a washing machine in the bathroom. Please bring your own towels and bed linen.

A garage for bicycles is also available. A BBQ area and sunbathing area are located in front of the self-catering holiday home. The access road is fit for traffic throughout the year. It is an ideal place for spending a hiking holiday, winter holiday, summer holiday or golfing holiday. Hiking and cycling trails are located in the immediate proximity of the house. There is a bathing lake nearby and the region has its own golf course, ice rinks and skiing areas. You are also offered the opportunity to purchase regional farm products.

We cordially welcome you and your family to spend your holidays on our farm in the south Waldviertel (altitude: 720 m). The business is entirely family run, and as well as offering comfortable rooms and a spacious holiday apartment, we also offer quality cuisine with good country cooking and Waldviertel specialities.

Location:

Our farm is located in the small municipality of Arndorf in a peaceful and heavily forested area with many walking and hiking trails. Just 10 minutes' walk away is the next municipality of Neukirchen with the Church of St. Mary, bank, shop and guesthouse.

Our farm offers the ideal conditions for getting to know life and work on a farm. Anyone who wishes to can lend a hand in the stable or in the fields.

The excursion destinations in the surrounding area such as Pöggstall, the Wachau and the castles and palaces of the Waldviertel offer variety.

A farm in a healthy and natural surrounding area with a family atmosphere. The farm is situated in a sunny, quiet location only 2 km from town, in the area of "Unterberg" - perfect for holidays in summer or winter. Our very own alpine pasture at an altitude 1,680 m is a particular hit with holidaymakers.Our large playground makes the children's eyes light up. On request, we barbecue for our guests and at breakfast you can try out the farm's own products. Further to this we offer a bread roll delivery service. With the "Gastein Card" you can get discounts in thermal spas, ski lifts and at various events. In the winter the building's very own sauna comes specially recommended after a long day's skiing (group prices also possible). The ski bus goes directly past the house and brings guests to the lift and back.

If you are looking for rest, relaxation and togetherness then our Krieglwaldhütte is the right place for you. The rustic hut for 2 people is beautifully situated in the middle of the countryside between woods and meadows. Here you can switch off and enjoy nature to the full. 

The hut has running water and a small wood-burning stove for cooking. The toilet is only a few steps away from the hut and because there is no electricity or WiFi, you will experience a hut vacation like back then. 

The cabin enjoys an idyllic location surrounded by forests and a pasture for young cattle. Lovely view towards Graz's local mountain the Schöckel. Our tastefully furnished alpine cabin offers peace and relaxation. Getting to know nature in wonderful hikes in the nearby summer meadows and lake area makes for an eventful holiday. The cabin is a farmhouse that has been renovated with plenty of care.

On the ground floor there is a kitchen (crockery available) with wood-fired oven and electric cooker. The kitchen gives access to the living room, equipped with a large dining table, TV, couch as well as a small oven. From there you can access the first bedroom, which contains a double bed and small chest. The terrace (with garden furniture and a BBQ area) can also be reached from the kitchen. Our children's playground is also right next door.

There is a special shoe room on the first floor where your shoes can be safely stored after hikes, tours or more. Children particularly enjoy the playground in the orchard where guests can stroll about. We know that they also really enjoy the animals on the farm (horses, cats, cows, rabbits). Feeding and milking the animals in the barn means kids both big and small always have something to do. There are also many ways for parents to relax (the lawn, sitting areas, sauna, barbecue...) In the region there are: Weekly programmes for children and adults, lakes and outdoor pools, biking and hiking trails and a rich programme for those interested in culture. Ulrichsberg offers you: asphalt Barvarian-curling hall, beach volleyball court, adventure playground, fly fishing on the Großen Mühl river, the Bohemian Forest golf park, 3 km from Ulrichsberg, Internet café in the youth hostel, skate park, tennis courts, indoor vitality pool, numerous biking and hiking trails, viewpoints, bathing lake, gym, outdoor swimming pools with diving boards or water slides, bowling alleys, miniature golf hall, indoor and outdoor riding arenas, indoor shooting range, bee-keeping, country houses, chapels, churches, artists studios, museums, the Stift Schlägl brewery, weaving, and much more, all within only 10 km! Only 70 km to Linz, the capital of Upper Austria and to Passau in Bavaria! For guests from Germany the trip through Passau has no TRAFFIC JAMS or ROAD TAX!
